Job Description

Our client is looking for a Treasury Manager who will provide strategic support to the Head of Mauritius office and the executive team with regards to all aspects of treasury management.

The chosen candidate would be monitoring the cash flow of the company on a daily basis, making periodic analysis for corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities. 


  • Ensure that proper record keeping and reconciliation procedures are in place and adhered to 
  • Prepare / Review the payment list, split between critical and non-critical or as required by management
  • Recommend priority payments to be made
  • Ensure that the weekly cash flow is reviewed and submitted for approval on time
  • Preparing weekly cash report for management reporting 
  • Review receipts and payments posting on SAGE weekly 
  • Prepare / Review the Bank recon on SAGE weekly 
  • Review payments instructions and beneficiaries set up
  • Preparing and maintaining the annuals cash flow on a weekly basis. Cash flow is monthly with a weekly view for the next 12 weeks
  • Prepare financial models for lenders. Ability to generate a cash flow manually from income statement and balance sheet 
  • Preparing weekly finance reports
  • Maintaining and managing the banking relationship
  • Approving FX deals 
  • Ability to work with complex calculations and use Microsoft Excel 
  • Effective management of direct reports and internal controls


  • Diploma / Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 years progressive experience in an international corporate treasury role, including 1 year at Management level
  • Excellent planning, organisational & analytical skills 
  • High level of computer literacy with Advanced Excel & presentation skills  
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes in direction 
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills (excellent written & spoken English)
