Job Description

Our client  brings to the market a set of core financial and technical products that can be tailored to meet specific client needs and thus delivery the right solution to clients; allowing for these products to be integrated into legacy technology, and allowing for products to be customised and extended further through bespoke development. 

The main goal is to establish a robust framework for the successful delivery of solutions to clients. The position of Senior Client Project Manager within this function plays a key role in the delivery framework. The Senior Client Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project life cycle, from initial project scoping, through to build, delivery and acceptance of deliverables by client.

This role requires an individual who understands the technical, business and commercial objectives of a project and who can plan, coordinate, and lead the activities necessary to successfully meet the project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress
  • Identify and manage project risks and dependencies to minimize impact on project
  • Determine resourcing requirements and allocation for successful project execution
  • Coordinate internal and third party resources for successful execution of projects
  • Measure and be on top of project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, throughout project lifecycle
  • Report project progress to internal stakeholders and client
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Establish and manage relationship with the client stakeholders
  • Establish and manage relationships with project team and internal stakeholders

Skill and Technologies:

  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability work with project teams who are resourced through 3rd party contractors and reside in different locations
  • Excellent organisation to keep control and track of requirements and issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think out-of-the-box to find and propose solutions for problems encountered
  • Good knowledge of the technical aspects of software development that allows for good understanding of technical dependencies
  • In-depth knowledge of different project management methodologies (Agile/ Waterfall) and ability to identify and use the best methodology as necessitated by the project requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and is able anticipate and act upon potential issues before occurring
  • Polished verbal and written communication and presentation skills
