The Data Management and Business Intelligence function is responsible to assist and support management and other operational employees make better and more informed business decisions. The function will aid to cut costs, identify new business opportunities, and spot inefficient business processes.
The selected candidate shall report to the Senior Manager and shall be responsible to assist with the alignment of the Data Management and Business Intelligence strategy.
- Development of MI Dashboards and reports leveraging MFSA’s Enterprise Data Warehouse and Operational Data Stores.
- Supports stakeholders across a variety of functions, particularly in business support / operations functions, with key insights and analysis.
- Works to meet or exceed service level agreements and optimize reporting processes by recommending or implementing improvements.
- Ensures and maintains compliance with company and department reporting and data policies and procedures.
We are looking for candidates with an academic background in computer science or similar at MQF level 6.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in working with SQL and analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI in an Enterprise environment.
They will capable of working within a fast paced environment and have the ability to research, collate, analyse and interpret data from a wide range of sources methodically and logically with an enquiring mind under minimal supervision.
They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to prioritise own workload and manage competing demands while delivering scheduled or ad hoc reports on time.
Experience with Microsoft BI visualisation tools is considered an asset.
