Job Description

Our client is recruiting a Relationship Officer - Leasing who will manage customer relationships and sustain a portfolio of corporate & SME customers with specific focus on assets, building long term relationships founded on efficient and reliable support for their business. The incumbent will take quick risk decisions and manage consistency and quality of operational service, whilst contributing to sustainable growth in the company’s business customer base and consolidate relationships with existing clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate all key messages to internal stakeholders including agreed service standards and negotiated pricing with clients
  • Ensure completeness of files
  • Manage debtor’s portfolio on a monthly basis
  • Monitor interest rates for effective monthly average rates
  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular visits to car dealers, targeted companies and clients
  • Follow up of client's applications for complete and timely delivery
  • Achieve the set monthly targets ? Organise sales visits and establish new businesses
  • Follow up for necessary approvals and compliance
  • Provide efficient and effective business relationships with dealers and suppliers
  • Ensure that clients understand requirements of the company as regards to documentation
  • Target and plan sales presentations to clients
  • Ascertain service continuity through system of alternates and appropriate handing over in case of absence
  • Provide prompt feedbacks to clients on all outstanding queries and to internal business stakeholders on all outstanding leads/queries within agreed SLA’s
  • Monitor levels of complaints and quality of handling for the industry/segment portfolio

Qualifications & Experience

  • Be a degree holder in marketing/business/management or sales related is preferable
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • Be well-versed in Recovery, Accounts and IT
  • Have sound Microsoft knowledge and good communication skills (English and French),
  • Possess good negotiation skills and business knowledge, together with Financial and Banking industries
  • Have analytical skills to understand Financials and good management / leadership skills
  • Have good planning and organisational skills and a detailed understanding of Regulatory guidelines and credit risk policies
  • Understand broadly policies and strategies
  • Possess a clean valid driving licence
  • Meet deadlines and achieve established goals
  • Display much commitment to increase productivity
  • Convey positive and professional image of department/organisation
