Castille Labs has a partnership opportunity with one of its clients, a world-class diversified group in Mauritius. The client is seeking to recruit a Project Manager/ Consultant who will be responsible for the execution of Human Capital Projects with a special focus on Payroll and HRIS projects for the Group. The job incumbent would be responsible mainly for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, directing & coordinating project activities to ensure that goals / objectives of projects are accomplished;
  • Assisting in the elaboration of ideas, feasibility study, initiative scoping, requirements documentation, partner/domain expertise selection, planning, testing, project implementation and roll-out;
  • Ensuring the completion of projects within time and budget;
  • Applying project management standards and best practices;
  • Engaging with vendors from RFP stage to implementation including organisation of proof of concept and pilot and contractual negotiations;
  • Managing the risks and issues arising from the projects and escalate accordingly;
  • Ensuring proper coordination among the different stakeholders (HC, Communication, Digital transformation, IT, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and external suppliers and/or partners) and facilitate interactions if required;
  • Ensuring that any software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications;
  • Assisting in the preparation of deliverables for each of the modules and/or coordinate efforts, monitor progress and shuffle resources to meet deadlines;
  • Providing scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates;
  • Conducting project post mortems and creating a recommendations report for identification of successful and unsuccessful project elements;
  • Ensuring trainings and user group sessions are conducted as and when required;
  • Providing guidance and recommendations on decisions and trade-offs on projects;

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in IT and/or Management or relevant field;  
  • Certificate in Project Management (PMI or Prince2)
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience in large scaled project management of technological and/or digital projects with testimonials of implementations;  
  • Experience in applying agile methodology in the execution of projects will be an advantage;
  • People leadership skills;
  • Result-oriented and Customer-centric approach;
