A well-established IT solutions company is expanding the team and are looking for a Network & Virtualization Support Engineer

Responsibilities: 

  • Support clients with networking and NSX networking issues 
  • Deploy new VLAN and VxLAN based networks 
  • Monitor both traditional networks and Virtualized infrastructure 
  • Gather requirements from clients 
  • Deploy wired networks 
  • Implement and support wired networks 
  • Troubleshoot issues with network connectivity 
  • Troubleshoot issues with the Virtualized Environment 
  • Deploy new VMware virtualization stacks, including NSX, vCenter, ESXi 
  • Support and develop Network and Infrastructure Automation 

Requirements: 

  • +2 years of related work experience 
  • CCNA level knowledge of Networking 
  • Proficient use of the English Language 
  • Troubleshooting skills 
  • Able to communicate clearly via diagrams and produce clear documentation 
  • Sound Experience with VMware Virtualization Technologies 
  • Active interest in Software Defined DataCenter and Software Defined Networks 
  • Ideal candidates will also have: 
    • University Degree in a relevant subject 
    • CCNP level knowledge of Networking 
    • VMware Certified Associate 
    • VMware Certified Professional (DataCenter Virtualization or Network Virtualization) would be highly valued 
    • Experience with any scripting language 
    • Familiarity with Linux 
    • Familiarity with Network Management/Monitoring systems 
    • Comfortable with Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
