A well-established IT solutions company is expanding the team and are looking for a Network & Security Engineer. 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from clients 
  • Design wired and wireless networks 
  • Implement and support wired and wireless networks 
  • Troubleshoot issues with network connectivity 
  • Manage firewall configuration, security policies, initial configuration of firewalls 
  • Design, Implement and support Access Management and Load Balancing on F5 load balancers 
  • Design Implement and support Network Access Control systems. 
  • Network Monitoring 

Requirements: 

  • +2 years of related work experience 
  • CCNA level knowledge of Networking 
  • Proficient use of the English Language 
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills 
  • Able to communicate clearly via diagrams and produce clear documentation 
  • Comfortable with Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) 
  • Experience with firewall and security policy management 
  • Knowledge of networking and application protocol (SSL, HTTP, DNS, SSH etc.) 
  • Ideal candidates will also have: 
    • University Degree in a relevant subject 
    • CCNP level knowledge of Networking 
    • Experience with any scripting language 
    • Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) 
    • Experience with 802.1x, Enterprise Wireless Design, Deployment and Maintenance 
    • Familiarity with Linux 
    • Familiarity with Network Management/Monitoring systems 
    • Familiarity with Wireshark 
    • Familiarity with Load Balancing and Application Delivery
