Job Description

A specialist service provider with expertise in offshore companies, trusts, and fund administration, is hiring a Human Resources Assistant (HRA). 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities: 

Assist in the Recruitment, Selection and On-boarding process

  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process including assisting in the preparation of Job Adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies, identifying and screening potential CVS;
  • Coordinate the pre & post on-boarding process including signature of contract of employment, checklists etc.;
  • Assist in the Induction & Orientation of new recruits;
  • Follow-up on confirmation, extension & termination of employment;

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the performance management exercise including the 90 days & 180 days reviews;
  • Keep appropriate & updated records of performance review documents;

Training & Secondment

  • Systematically update and maintain the training database;
  • Liaise with local training authorities (MQA/HRDC) for training registration and refunds;
  • Coordinate local & overseas training & secondment programs and organise logistics;

Keeping Records & Database

  • Safe keep employee files and ensure confidentiality in handling these files;
  • Update & maintain employee records & files;
  • Maintain and update all HR database.

Other HR relevant cognate duties

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of relevant working experience in an HR environment;
  • Holder of a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Employment Rights Act & other employment related laws;
  • Creative & Out of the Box thinking abilities;
  • Excellent communicator both verbal & written in both English & French;
  • Ability to multi-task and work under very tight deadlines;
  • Candid, Discreet, autonomous, reliable and highly ethical;
  • People oriented with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Proven experience in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information;
  • Hands-on experience in dealing with a diverse workforce at all levels within an organisation;
  • Well versed with Microsoft office tools and HRIS.
