Job Description

Our client is recruiting a General Manager - BD to drive sales in RSA and Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales in primarily in South Africa & Mauritius in FSI, through face-to-face meetings
  • Lead all business development activities in regards to Platforms & RPA
  • Assist in the Sales process in other countries in Africa and elsewhere, by working closely with representatives/GM of other offices of the Group, in order to close Platforms & RPA related sales
  • Participate in strategy formulation and execution of tactical plans
  • Ensure that business activities produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Work with relevant senior team members and leverage firm resources to identify and drive new business opportunities with firm and prospective clients
  • Address issues/concerns regarding solution offerings and assist in fee negotiations to successfully bring deals to closure
  • Build long term partnership with various stakeholders involved
  • Validate long-term business goals and strategies
  • Review business strategies and plans together with the Board of Directors, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, company’s vision and roadmap
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry and carefully monitor competition in the market with constant evaluation of financial structure, capital strategy & strategic priorities
  • In addition, expand on the Group's business model and identify alternative opportunities to monetize products

Qualifications and Experience

  • First Degree in Commercial field or any other related
  • Experience in Business Development of IT-Tech products in RSA
  • Candidate should be well conversant with RPA/ML/AI, and have worked in this area in a sales position for at least 2+ years
  • Good knowledge of RSA main cities' markets (Jo'Burg, CT...) with a good network
  • Be a perfect Team player for future team setting
