Job Description

Role purpose:

  • Drive evolution of Vodafone Malta’s strategy related to Fixed services (both in consumer and SoHo/SME segments) based on sound understanding of customer needs, commercial models and related technologies
  • Lead cross-functional work on developing the infrastructure required for the introduction of new propositions in Fixed
  • Manage relationships including negotiations and alignment with potential commercial partners and Government entities to support the delivery of our strategy
  • Lead product marketing and management activities including product and process design, pricing, commercial modelling and product delivery through strong cross-functional teamwork
  • Responsible for creating and delivering plans to support deliver customer happiness and commercial targets (e.g. NPS, customer volumes, revenue)

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Lead strategic thinking and lead execution of plans related to Fixed Strategy, working closely with Vodafone Malta leadership team
  • Design and bring innovative Fixed products and services to market to exceed customer expectations, drive continuous process innovation to grow customer satisfaction and process efficiency related to fixe products
  • Build strong plans and drive team to acquire and retain customers; set targets, develop commercial campaigns, run base management campaigns and channel activities
    Ensure customer experience and support processes are efficient and also deliver high NPS results
  • Manage CAPEX, OPEX and A&R budgets related to Fixed to deliver commercial targets

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Solid understanding of fixed technologies, products and related processes – 3+ years experience in fixed operations in product/marketing/customer care or technology area
  • Marketing & Product management skills with great eye for detail and passion for the customer to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Commercially savvy, experienced in working with complex business cases and managing a P&L
  • Outstanding people skills, ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with different stakeholders at all levels in the organisation just as well as with external partners/organisations to ensure successful implementation of strategy

Required technical / professional qualifications: 

  • University degree, preferably in Technology, Business or Marketing
