Under the supervision and instructions of the Financial Controllers, The Finance Assistant is responsible for: 

  • Inputting / Posting of Invoices, bank transactions and general ledger accounting entries;
  • Daily journal entries related to Cash & EPOS;
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations;
  • Checking of stores’ daily cash reconciliations;
  • Monthly Fixed Register Update;
  • Preparation of purchase orders;
  • Monthly Intercompany reconciliations;
  • Performance of various reconciliations to the general ledger - being mainly Prepayments & Accruals;
  • Provide the necessary information to the auditors;
  • Assisting in the processing of stock invoices;
  • Assisting in the processing of semi-annually stock takes;
  • Assisting in the carrying out of periodical store cash counts;
  • Other general Administrative duties;
  • Filing of all accounting department documents;

The applicant has to have at least an O’Level in accounting or equivalent and have good knowledge of excel. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
