A company providing trustee and corporate services internationally is currently seeking to recruit a finance assistant who will be assisting clients with various financial needs. 

Job Description 

  • Maintain cash books  

  • Prepare Company/Client bank reconciliations  

  • Forex postings  

  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations  

  • Input data on transactions into accounting system  

  • Prepare Company/Client books for monthly management accounts  

  • Prepare year end accounts for both company and trust accounts to trial balance stage  

  • Prepare group and regulatory returns  

  • Prepare Company and Client VAT Returns  

  • File and organize company documents in physical files and on the server  

  • Collect and verify due diligence documentation as part of KYC procedures  

  • Respond to ad hoc queries from Board and top management  

  • Assisting the payments function  

  • Assist Financial Manager in the preparation of Company/Client Management Accounts  

  • Prepare Quarterly Invoicing 

 

Job Requirements  

  • An experience of 3 to 5 years in a finance related environment;  

  • Experience in a corporate administration and/or trust accounting environment would be considered as an asset;  

  • Basic bookkeeping experience; preparation of financial records to trial balance;  

  • Candidate must have a bookkeeping qualification or diploma;  

  • IT literacy in Sage Evolution accounting packages advantageous;  

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage accounting packages, experience in Sage Evolution would be an asset Anti-Money Laundering training would be a plus
