A dynamic press and communications leader, specialised in mass media through written, radio and digital channels, is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to be based in Mauritius. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the strategy and execution of our client’s marketing presence across paid and digital channels. Further responsibilities include development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Optimise and build online marketing campaigns
  • Develop analytics reports, monitoring benchmarks and collate data for reporting
  • Identify opportunities to expand and improve the company’s social media activities
  • Develop and manage effective paid search campaigns and lead strategic acquisition
  • Lead the SEO strategy whilst ensuring all on-page implementation and consistency requirements
  • Develop measurement and reporting tools in order to effectively analyze campaigns and optimise performance
  • Grow website traffic whilst increasing conversions
  • Manage and update website content using existing content management system
  • Analyse monthly web trends and identify areas for improvement
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Manage all clients’ digital marketing projects, ensure clients ROI and report on achievements
  • Assist the company’s business development team in developing proposals within the digital marketing segment
  • Any other cognate duties as decided by the management

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing or related field / IT related exposure would be an advantage
  • At least Minimum 5+ years work experience in Digital Marketing
  • Strong knowledge of digital media management and measurement tools such as Google analytics and hands on experience with Google Ad words
  • Ability to effectively persuade others with data and logical argument
  • Excellent English and French writing and language skills
  • Strong team player who thrives in an informal corporate culture
  • Self-motivated, enjoys a challenge, and looking to make an immediate impact
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative yet structured having solid project management experience
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and learn quickly
