Customer Relationship Adviser

Specialising in corporate financing solutions, our client, a bank, is seeking a Customer Relationship Adviser, to be a core member of the retail banking team, promoting the bank’s products, servicing clients and administering the retail portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Leadership Team
  • Answers enquiries from new and existing clients on bank products
  • Meets prospective and existing clients
  • Prepares client application forms
  • Creates client accounts and sends contract notes after the relevant checking
  • Issues contract notes, double-checking all details
  • Keeps updated client records in hard and soft copies
  • Performs technical administrative tasks
  • Responsibility for maturity letters and deposit breakdown on daily basis
  • Responsibility for ongoing due diligence on monthly basis
  • Conducts onboarding procedures for new clients which include KYC procedures, AML checks in accordance with the bank’s AML policy and compliance approval prior to onboarding
  • Updates client files, both in hard and soft copies
  • Updates the database on potential and existing clients
  • Follows-up on potential and existing clients to solidify bank relationship with them
  • Prepares ad hoc reports for management

Requirements:

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Degree in Banking or Finance
  • Two to four years’ experience in a customer facing role
  • Very good communication skills
  • Good MS Office skills, especially on Word and Excel
  • Fluent Maltese and English
  • Mature personality
