Job Description

A strong brand in the local landscape of financial services is recruiting a Branch Manager – Consumer Finance who will be accountable for branch operations, budgeting and achieving departmental KPIs, to ensure an engaged workforce, positive relationships with partners and efficient operations.

The incumbent shall be a dedicated professional with a proven track record of helping businesses increase sales numbers and improving customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop long term frontline staff planning for peak/non-peak volume seasons to optimize service, equipment utilization and labour budget
  • Communicate constantly to team ensuring operating objectives
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to at the new centres
  • Manage all financial and budgeting responsibilities of branches
  • Oversee performance and quality standard reviews to ensure outcomes meet client expectations
  • Troubleshoot and create action plans to quickly and effectively address problems
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive operational efficiencies
  • Monitor all key metrics in support of meeting/exceeding initiative objectives
  • Identify risks and align processes for mitigation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a 1st degree in a business field
  • Have a strong knowledge of Finance industry legislation
  • Possess at least 5 years’ experience at management level in the retails sector
  • Exposed to leading large teams
  • Know all major retailers across the island
  • Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with partners
  • Capable to intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
  • Aptitude to coach and help develop team members and help resolve dysfunctional behaviour
  • Willing to work on extended shifts and during weekends, as and when required
  • Be a good communicator in Eng / Fr and have a clean driving license
