A well established company is seeking to  employ an Accountant to be responsible for the pension scheme, trust, company and client accounts and for the related reporting activities.

The job includes:

  • maintenance of client accounts 
  • review of internal reports
  • liaise with auditors and provide necessary support
  • support the preparation of annual, bi-annual accounts and other regulatory reporting
  • compilation of Tax returns
  • compilation of VAT returns
  • completion of statutory company accounts
  • ensuring the update of daily transactions being correctly posted in the accounting system 

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Maltese language
  • fully qualified Accountant ( in possession of Public Warrant )
  • minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably within the Malta Financial Services Industry
  • knowledge of NAVision considered an asset; previous experience in pension considered an asset; previous experience in VAT and Tax an asset
  • ability to work in a team
