A well-established Maltese company is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Systems Specialist who shall maintain, upgrade and support Faults and Performance Monitoring platform.

Responsibilities:

Supporting Mobile, Fixed, Broadband and IP networks and services
Providing technical leadership in the R&D of Assurance tools across all technical teams
Taking the lead in designing, monitoring and executing integration projects
Providing support for the Assurance Systems managed by the Department
Conducting acceptance testing, modifications or updating system configurations
Adapting systems to reflect changes in the network
Responsible for the accurate production of faults statistics, performance KPIs and threshold notifications

Skills and Experience required:

Problem solving and logical skills
Experience within teamwork
Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing, fluent in English
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical IT or Engineering field
Desirable technical skills: LINUX, SQL, Database, Scripting, Reporting
Familiarity with Telecom Networks
Have previous experience managing a team
