Senior Solutions Architect

Duration - 6 months with renewal for long-term. 
Working Hours - 40hours/week CEST Timezone +/- 3hours 
Employment Type - Partner Agreement (B2B) 

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to work with a project in the fintech industry. The Senior Solutions Architect will provide leadership and strategic direction in the identification, plan, and implementation of new technologies. The Senior Solutions Architect is expected to provide strategic technical solutions for critical software solutions and high visibility.  

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to support with on function-specific architecture design, delivery, support, and maintenance projects. 
  • Designs solution templates using reference architectures for applications, data and technology. 

  • Creates logical and technical architecture to build functional and related business requirements. 

  • Develop reusable and scalable solutions to avoid technical debt. 

  • Propose opportunities to simplify related solutions architecture across departments.  

  • Directs the evaluations of performance, security, reliability, operations, technology, and interoperability requirements. 

  • Produces high level design deliverables that enable development teams to produce products that are flexible, scalable, and secure.  

  • Assures that platform and technology architecture is coded and configured to deliver the security, privacy, and data protections expected by customers and business partners. 

  • Responsible for the incorporation of cybersecurity controls, policies and procedures into each solution design. 

  • Responsible to create solution recommendations relevant to customer objectives and that add value to the organization. 

  • Integrate existing technologies to satisfy customer objectives. 

  • Able to develop portfolio strategy, roadmap guidance and consult on business technology. 

  • Participate as a key contributor to Architecture Community of Practice forum. 

  • Review code of technical team, to submit high quality of the code. 

  • Mentor the technical team in best practices in terms of coding standards and GIT workflows. 

  • Ensure that developers have a good technical understanding of task requirements. 

  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to create specification to meet the requirements and improve standards. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience 

  • +7 years' experience in full development life cycle and significant experience in delivering applications and architecture services in a production environment  

  • Extensive knowledge of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices 

  • +5 years’ experience in the implementation of structured design and architecture processes in a corporate environment 

  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, technical/infrastructure architecture, security disciplines, or operational disciplines. 

  • Working experience with Microsoft C#, Entity framework or nHibernate, Postgres or SqlServer and Vue.js technology platform. 

  • Experience in using and designing cloud platform solutions (IaaS, PaaS), I.e. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure. 

  • Experience with complex data platform, both relational and unstructured. 

  • Experience with GIT such as Gitlab or Github, including workflows, merge, branching etc. 

  • Experience with task management software such as Jira. 

  • Knowledge of application integration leveraging custom and pre-built APIs. 

  • Experience in leading software evaluations and selection of major, enterprise-wide software solutions. 

  • Experience incorporating mobile application architecture in enterprise business platforms. 

  • Ability to persuade users, project managers, and senior leadership on technical solutions. 

  • Ability to work across multiple organizations to complete projects. 

  • Outstanding verbal, presentation, and written skills. 

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
