Well established international group of companies is seeking to employ a Senior HR Manager for its offices in Malta.
The Senior HR Manager shall have an overall responsibility of overseeing matters related to the Employees within the firm, including but not limited to HR Administration, recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, payroll.

Job duties include:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process; advise on and write job descriptions, advertise role through various media channels, filter and benchmark received applications, coordinate and hold interviews, ensure that the Group Recruitment Process is adhered to
  • Manage all aspects of the on-boarding process; preparation of employment documents, engage employee, provide induction training
  • Contribute towards off-boarding process; carry out exit interviews, issue turnover trend analysis report
  • Manage monthly payroll functions
  • Oversee all administrative aspects related to the HR Department
  • Provide assistance with performance appraisals and employee surveys
  • Assist with employee's grievances and ensure that the Group disciplinary action policy is adhered to
  • Oversee Health & Safety
  • Contribute and review HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with respective jurisdictional laws

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • A Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within an international organisation
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Knowledge and expertise in HRM, HRD and employment legislation
  • Have excellent conflict resolution skills, along with Judgment and decision-making competency
  • The ability to plan strategically and ensure the mission and vision is adhered to
  • You will have diplomatic approach, sensitive to cultural diversity
  • Be an analytical thinker and attention hold to detail 
  • Have a strong sense of ethics, integrity and discretion
  • Have an excellent level of written and spoken English
  • Currently living in Malta
