A leading international company is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes within an international group structure.
Job Description
Reporting business transactions in line with International Financial Reporting Standards
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close and year-end close
Assist with the annual audit process;
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Manage the junior accountants on the team
Research and analyse expense variances
Preparation of VAT returns and related VAT compliance submissions requirements
Job Requirements
Proven experience of professional accounting experience
Fully qualified accountant and ideally CPA warranted
Proven experience within a Big 4 and International Companies will be considered an asset;
Knowledge of accounting procedures
Knowledge and In-depth understanding of IFRS
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like SAP and Navision
