One of our clients in financial services looking for an IT Project Manager  

Main responsibilities:

  • You will have ownership of execution and delivery of one or multiple projects ranging from large strategic projects to smaller tactical initiatives  

  • Acting as front-line team player within a centralised PMQ framework 

  • Defining project scope, determining project milestones and provide budget justification 

  • Acting as a central point of contact to internal and external project stakeholders to ensure compliance with agreed project deliverables 

  • Taking responsibility of the overall progress of project execution with strict adherence to SLAs and agreed timelines 

  • Understanding stakeholders' requests and provide on-going support through the project lifecycle ensuring that any decisions made will have a measurable impact on and demand capacity and contingency planning of the firm 

  • Partner with Project Stakeholders in project planning and preparation for status meetings; 

  • Taking responsibility of the overall progress of project execution with strict adherence to agreed timelines and ensure timely compilation of project reporting 

  • Maintaining an accurate and unbiased reflection of project related risks and ensure timely escalation 

Skills and Experience required: 

  • Educational background in business, IT and/or change management or an equivalent professional qualification 

  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a Project Management 

  • Must be proficient with methods and techniques for preparing statements of requirements both orally and in writing 

  • Must be familiar with standards associated with IT practice nationally and internationally 

  • Must be able to facilitate remote and face to face meetings 

  • You are a team player and actively promote team spirit 

  • Hold strong written and oral communication skills
