Legal Manager ( Banking )

Leading banking institution in Malta is seeking to hire a Legal Manager to join it's dynamic and growing Unit. The Legal Manager shall be reporting to the Senior Legal Manager and provide guidance for the more junior legal staff.


Job duties include:

  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing general commercial agreements
  • General legal advise on relevant industry matters
  • Developing and drafting policies and other documentation
  • Managing a number of members of the Legal Unit
Skills and Qualifications required:
  • Fully qualified and warranted lawyer in Malta
  • Minimum of 4 years legal experience preferably within the financial services
  • Excellent communication skills, and fluent in English and Maltese, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership capacity and good management skills
