A well-established institution is currently seeking to recruit a legal administrative officer who shall provide assistance to the legal team.  

Job Duties 

 

  • Assisting the legal department with legal administrative duties  
  • Drafting of correspondence on behalf of the legal team 
  • Coordination of courier services for the delivery of documentation for the legal department 
  • Effective management of electronic and physical filing 
  • Keeping up to date with relevant court sittings and court deadlines as required 
  • Coordination of internal and external meetings and other events 
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and organisations of travel 
  • Dealing with procurement duties  
  • Any other required duties which may be required from time to time 

 

Job Requirements 

  • Degree level of education 
  • At least 2 years’ prior experience in an administrative function, preferably within a legal environment 
  • Able to work on own initiative and takes ownerships of one’s own work 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment 
  • Proficient use of MS Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel
