ICT Compliance Manager ( Payments )

 A well established international payments institution,  as part of its growth strategy, is seeking to employ  an ICT Compliance Manager within it's team in Malta. 

This role will be reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.

Job duties include:

  • evaluation of different factors within the institution and setting the direction of ICT Compliance management 
  • defining strategy for ICT Compliance audits
  • establishing the need to carry out compliance audits on both process outcomes and also within processes
  • defining methodology of the audits
  • developing and monitoring a risk-based 3-year plan to carry out compliance audit assignments
  • conducting horizon scans and continuous research
  • providing guidance and advice to other roles within the institution
  • Execution of compliance monitoring by carrying out compliance audits as per plan, defining tests to determine whether an area is compliant or otherwise, and drafting reports;
  • Conducting training on ICT compliance to staff as required;
Skills and Qualifications required:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology
  • Certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) would be considered as a significant asset
  • 2- or 5-years' experience in IT compliance or IT Auditing or IT Risk roles
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
