A well-established company who operates within retail is currently seeking to recruit an HR manager who shall be reporting to the CEO.

 Job Duties

  • Assists in development of Business Plan for the HR Department
  • Assists to maintain management control over the operations of the department
  • Manages the staff resources assigned to the responsibility area
  • Performance Review of staff
  • Assists in the development of plans to implement the strategies to ensure that the number of people with the right skills and competencies
  • Provides advice on the development of organisational structures
  • Provides support to the COO on workforce planning and implementation strategies
  • Provides advice on employee relations and policies
  • Assists in the development, co-ordination and implementation of a Performance Management Programme
  • Consultations with other Departments
  • Other duties as might be required

Job Requirements

  • Possess a tertiary level of education within HR or possess previous working experience within an HR related position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese
  • Ability to engage with different teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communicator
