A well-established company is currently seeking to recruit an HR manager who shall be reporting to the Operations Director and will manage the whole HR processes.  

Job Duties include:

  • Processing new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions and existing employee changes; 
  • Manage the interview process;  
  • Responsible for recruitment;  
  • Drafting of job descriptions for new positions in conjunction with line managers;  
  • Prepare monthly payroll calculations;  
  • Assist in employee onboarding and termination procedures; 
  • Responsible for the administration of HR policies and programs; 
  • Update and maintain various HR reports and employee information for payroll, benefits and employee files; 
  • Collaborate on and follow company policies, practices and procedures to maintain internal controls; 
  • Advise the Management Team on all people and HR issues;  
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation sessions
  • Familiarise with local law related to employment, JobsPlus forms, ID Malta and other related parties.
  • Organise staff events, one to one meetings and employee of the quarter / year
  • Other admin duties if / when required

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Experience in Maltese employment law is a must; 
  • Able to work on own initiative; 
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position; 
  • Demonstrate problem solving and leadership ability; 
  • Excellent communication skills; 
  • Highly skilled in managing confidential issues with discretion.
