Our client is recruiting a Human Resources Executive who will support the HR Manager in providing a comprehensive HR service including but not restricted to resolving employee disputes, grievances performance issues. The incumbent will also deal with the day to day general labour law enquiries of HR business partners, shared services and coordination with external legal counsels.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report on HR metrics on a monthly basis and work with business partners within defined head count budgets
  • Provide support in research, creation of manuals, HR policies and other related best practices
  • Ensure compliance in all areas of HR and company policies
  • Act as a point of contact across the business for industrial relations matters
  • Support business through strong employment law knowledge and application
  • Ensure HR systems (current & future) are always up to date and well maintained
  • Guide management in the application and interpretation of employment laws or regulations and HR-related policies and practices
  • Act as alternate risk champion and create action plans including recommendations and solutions to mitigate labour risks
  • Ensure proper Grievance Management by conducting investigations, compiling records and attending court hearings
  • Be the main point of contact for general HR queries, requests and concerns from employees and management regarding company
  • Seek to resolve and report employee relations within the departments/company to appropriate leadership
  • Develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with all employees to sustain the reputation of HR team as a people focused function
  • Be an active member of the Corporate Employee Committees and assist in facilitation of exit interviews
  • Coach, advise and mentor all levels of management through employee relations matters and conflict resolution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master sound knowledge of relevant laws and legislations
  • Be well-versed with Microsoft Office tools
  • Possess effective communication skills to deal tactfully and sensitively with people at all levels
  • Have good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Have ability to operate within tight deadlines and manage a number of work activities at any one time
  • Be flexible and the able to establish personal priorities, solve problems and negotiate
  • Degree Holder in relevant field or relevant professional qualification with 5 years’ experience as a HR Generalist dealing with large workforce
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment relationship, negotiation theory/practice, change management and conflict resolution theory and practice.
