A well-established company operating in the fuel, commercials and property sector is currently seeking to recruit an accounting and administration manager who will be managing the accounting and administration function of the company.

Job Description

  • General office administration
  • Book-keeping and accounting work including preparation of management accounts
  • Chasing debtors
  • Liaising with banks, clients and suppliers
  • Issuing payments to suppliers
  • Supporting the company’s auditors in the audit process
  • Handling general correspondence
  • Other administrative and accounting work as may be required from time to time
  • Managing a direct report, an office clerk

Skills and Experience

  • An accountancy qualification relevant to the role
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Effective team player, also planning and working on own initiative
  • An ability to organize effectively, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Take the required decisions and ownership of issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
