A Multinational manufacturer and insurance company are currently on the lookout for an ALM & Solvency Analyst. The person will be reporting to the Head of Solvency & ALM Analyst, forming part of the finance department. 

Job Description 

  • Analyse the performance of the company's investments
  • Perform monthly regulatory and investment controls
  • Take control of all reporting requirements under the Insurance Distribution Act
  • Assist in the preparation of Committee material such as PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist in the Asset Liability Management process
  • Prepare financial projections (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Assist in the reporting requirements under the Insurance Business Act (Solvency II)
  • Involved in the Solvency calculations for reporting and ad-hoc requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of the Financial Statements
  • Assist other departments whenever requested
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Job Requirements

  • A make-it-happen attitude

  • A solid understanding of accounts
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office skills (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proper communication in English
  • Insurance experience (not essential but would help)
