A group of companies is currently looking for an eCommerce Manager to be primarily developing and managing the eCommerce function

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the Malta eCommerce business including, business planning, liaising with Brand Directors, providing content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and any other digital marketing requirements
  • Managing the user experience of the website including image, site navigation, content creation & development (including photography), checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Managing all aspects of key e-commerce metrics including but not limited to (traffic, SEO, conversion, bounce rate, dwell time, payment gateway, abandoned cart etc) to ensure site is efficient and effective
  • Generating and implementing new sales and marketing initiatives to drive traffic to site and increase eCommerce sales and profitability
  • Providing consultancy on current eCommerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects (e.g. in store initiatives) to ensure eCommerce principles are incorporated
  • Identifying new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking

KPI’s including:

  • Sales and profit from e-commerce
  • Traffic; Conversion; Bounce rate; Abandoned cart etc
  • ROI on e-commerce marketing investment (e.g. PPC)
  • Customer satisfaction ratings

Education and skills required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in marketing or business
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar tole
  • You are organized, analytical person with strong technical skills
  • Able to multitask effectively and be able to problem-solve when needed
  • Must be creative, pragmatic, and eager to learn
  • Must be able to lead a cross functional team
