Tech company based in Malta with offices abroad is currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer reporting directly to Head of Technical Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will be performing both risk and threat analysis of the company SaaS / BaaS platforms, Web systems and processes
  • Carrying out vulnerability and penetration tests
  • Contributing to the creation of our DevSecOps roadmap and initiatives prioritisation
  • Assisting with threat modelling and creating secure product features during planning and architectural stage
  • Operating security tools to detecting threat against their production systems
  • Providing first response, remediation, analyse root causes and develop mitigations for security-related incidents
  • Reviewing and auditing  systems and configurations for common security vulnerabilities
  • Engaging and participating in the security community whilst keeping yourself updated with the latest developments
Education and Skills Required:
  • Strong InfoSec engineering experience with solid technical security education and background
  • Experience in exploiting vulnerabilities, grey / black box and penetration testing using different security tools and solutions
  • Experience with OWASP Top 10 web-based security vulnerabilities
  • Good in-depth technical knowledge of TCP/IP stack, security engineering, authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography
  • Knowledgeable with secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modelling
  • Security knowledge in distributed systems (firewalls, load balancers, web servers, IDS< databases)
  • Good knowledge of GDPR, PCI, NIST, ISO 27001/2
  • Ability to work in a team environment
