An established firm in financial services based in Malta is looking for the Data Solution Specialist to join The Data Management and Business Intelligence team that supports timely and effective decision making by providing the right data-related processes, KPIs, dashboards, analytics and risk profiling.

You will work with the relevant technical, programme management and business users, with the purpose to create, implement and maintain automated workflows within the relevant data collection and supervisory and records management systems. 


  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the relevant system environments
  • Work closely with staff and end?users to maintain, optimize, create, test and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
  • Create and document application requirements and data maps for new functionality in collaboration with the software development & PMQ teams
  • Analyse and document Data Quality issues with Legacy Systems and produce practical proposals for fixing the issues and preventing them from reoccurring
  • List and document data sources and siloes that exist within different units with a view of centralising and consolidating the company's information
  • Stay up to date on new system features, key user pain points and functionality, as well as providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Deliver data collection and supervisory system projects on schedule and with high quality
  • Define and maintain data related policies and procedures
  • Perform daily administrative tasks and address any production support issues as may be required


  • Degree in Computer Science or other IT related area 
  • Experience in implementing systems with highly complex processes, involving cross functional teams 
  • Good knowledge of Excel, SQL, Data 
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in a related area
  • Experience in implementing Enterprise CRM or ERP platforms or Enterprise Content Management Systems such as Microsoft SharePoint is considered a plus
