Customer Service Officer (bilingual Dutch/French)
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the selected candidate will join the Belgian Customer Service department and will be supporting our Belgian customers throughout their customer journey, from account opening to saving and investing through the MeDirect platform. The role provides the opportunity to work in a fastgrowing and innovative environment, and to gain a professional certificate on Bank Mediation (Febelfin WetWillems).
Duties and responsibilities
Attracting new customers by answering incoming calls and responding to customer emails
Responding and resolving customer queries and escalating technical issues, whilst finding and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
Providing customers with information about the Banks products and services
Following up on customers instructions including payments, placement of trades, transfer of investment portfolios, and account opening and closure
Supporting the Banks marketing strategy throughout various campaigns focusing on savings and wealth products
Required knowledge, skills and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Communication skills in French will be considered an asset
Previous experience in a customer service role will be considered an asset
