A well established international banking institution is seeking to employ a Corporate Governance Officer who will be reporting to the Corporate Governance Manager and the Group Corporate Governance Manager.

  • Maintaining the Group's policy library, specifically following-up with policy owners to ensure policies and associated documents are updated in a timely manner and going through the correct governance channels in accordance with the Group's policy standards
  • Assisting the team to instigate reviews and updating of internal policies as a result of changes in Regulation and Guidelines
  • Following up with internal stakeholders to ensure effective monitoring is in place and indicators are being monitored periodically in line with the intra-group and third-party arrangements
  • Assisting the team with the maintenance of action plans including the compilation of internal reports that are submitted by the team
  • Contributing to the creation of training and/or knowledge sharing material pertaining to internal governance processes and activities
  • Assisting the team with administrative and secretarial duties for internal committees including scheduling of meetings and minute taking, where required
  • Supporting activities pertaining to Registrar duties and submissions
  • The position requires at least 2-3 years working experience
  • Experience with minute taking
  • Excellent communication skills in English in order to write and engage with various stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to interpret regulations
