A leading insurance company is looking to employ a Claims handler, personal lines claims. 

Job description: 

  • Takes internal incoming calls as well as from clients including intermediaries 

  • Opening, registering and dealing with personal lines claim enquiries, having a main focus on travel related products 

  • The handling of claims includes; initial registration of claims, appoint assessor report, and more 

  • Making a decision on claim up to payment of claim within authority limited vested in the role 

  • Liaising with internal and external clients including intermediaries 

Job requirements: 

  • Minimum of secondary level of education 

  • Preferred candidates will be those that hold Diploma in insurance as per The Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) or close to achievement in near future 

  • Knowledge and experience within the insurance industry (minimum 3 years’ experience), specifically the areas related to personal lines 

  • Client relationship skills  

  • Ability to monitor quality on control

  • Ready to work under pressure with minimum supervision
