The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the effective management, overseeing and implementation of the School’s multiple operational functions.


  • Leading and supporting the HR Manager to ensure that all HR systems, including hiring, on boarding of staff, employee payroll data, maintenance of HR records and staff handbook are effective and efficient
  • Leading and supporting the Operations Manager to ensure the effective management of the School to ensure that buildings are clean, safe, well maintained and efficiently operated
  • Leading and supporting the Assistant Operations Manager in order to help with the smooth running of student transportation
  • Leading and supporting the IT department to ensure that students and staff have safe and reliable access to the school’s IT resources
  • Leading and supporting the Head of communications, marketing and enrollment in order to have optimal communication plans in place
  • Overseeing the provision of food services in the school and ensure that the service provided is up to the latest government regulations
  • Monitoring the school nurses to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Work with the Heads of Sector and administrators to implement highly effective communication systems that positively impact staff & parent relations
  • Reporting directly into the Board to ensure that operational policies, practices and procedures maximise organisational effectiveness
  • Work with the Finance Director and Head of School to prepare the annual budget
  • Dealing with Government and other public bodies as necessary
  • Managing Data Protection at the school in line with legislation

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in Management
  • Passion for Quality and Education
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in computer technology
  • Desire to continue professional development
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Demonstrates ethical behaviour and high confidentiality standards
