QA Analyst is required to join a firm in financial services based in Malta with offices abroad

Do you have 3-5 years’ experience in the following areas?

  • Business analysis
  • Data migration
  • Supporting the business through user testing

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the business to help define business requirements in-line with organization objectives
  • Designing test methodologies and performing regular regression tests on all processes and design all project deliverables and manage all test environments
  • Performing end to end tests on all processes and design all program documents and as per resource requirements and administer all test activities for all phases
  • Developing all test plans and perform troubleshoot on systems and analyze all test resources to resolve issues and manage all communication with Project teams to achieve all objectives
  • Responding to inquiries, identifies issues, and guides Project teams in relation to business processes, data, and problems
  • Serving as liaison between business process owners and functional groups within the business units
  • Contributing to application implementation while liaising with technical personnel to help streamline SDLC and application lifecycles
  • Working with Change Managers to review the impact of new business requirements
  • Focused on meeting deliverables and timelines for all engagements while liaising with the business where appropriate to guide and direct to help achieve expected outcomes
  • Manage relationships and actively collaborate with service providers, consultants, partners and third-party vendors
  • Perform other tasks as required or as directed by IT Management
 

Education and Skills required:

  • Degree in Business Administration or in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years + Working experience in leading process improvement efforts using business systems analysis, business process design, and evaluation of departmental business lines and service delivery systems
  • Native English
  • Financial services knowledge would be an asset
  • Experience in business analysis skills with ability to initiate activities, set priorities, manage multiple priorities and deliver on-time results
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in conducting extensive qualitative research, cost benefit analysis, and technical writing
  • Knowledgeable in Lean and process improvement tools and concepts an asset
  • Exposure to Salesforce would be an asset
  • Knowledge of customer-centric data systems with specific know how on data integrity, integrations, accessibility and insights is advantageous
  • Experience working with distributed support teams (multiple countries)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to work efficiently, either independently or within a team environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel if required
