Application Support Associate

Our client is looking for an Application Support Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with daily technology support duties such as determining issues, troubleshooting and providing advice for corrective actions
  • Determining cause of incidents
  • Liaising with developers and product owners on viable solutions to resolving incidents
  • Assisting with the deploying of upgrades
  • Responding to direct and indirect inquiries based on clients as required
  • Performing routine audits of systems and reporting the status
  • Logging, monitoring, updating and resolving calls/emails in a timely manner
  • Performing other relevant duties as required, supporting the company on various client and internal initiatives
Requirements
  • Tertiary level of education, ideally in Computer Systems, Information Systems or related
  • Experience supporting application in shared or virtual environments
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and Angular 2.x
  • Strong database development skills (M S SQL)
  • Familiarity with SQL DBM's interface and integrated tools
  • Ability to understand and modify code
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and colleagues
