Accounts Assistant

A local insurance company is currently seeking to recruit an accounts assistant who shall be joining the finance team on a full-time basis.  

Job Description 

• Posting of all transactions
• Prepare Bank payments
• Perform reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of TAX and VAT return
• Other general accounting as may be required

Job Requirements 

• Possess an accountancy degree or is in the process of attaining such a qualification
• Knowledge of insurance will be considered an asset
• Experience with SunSystem is considered an asset
• Previous experience in a similar role
