A leading Insurance company is currently looking for an accounting and administration assistant who shall be reporting to the managing director.

Job description:  

Accounting duties:  

  • Processing orders and invoices for supplies; 
  • Posting invoices in the Company’s accounting system; 
  • Initiating payment transactions and obtaining proper authorization for such payments; 
  • Posting payments in the Company’s accounting system; 
  • Assisting the Company’s Accountant as necessary with daily tasks and with monthly closing procedures. 

Administration duties:  

  • Maintaining the Company’s physical and electronic filing system; 
  • Ordering office supplies as necessary; 
  • Liaising with service providers; 
  • Making travel arrangements for Company employees; 
  • Assisting the Managing Director with administrative tasks as necessary. 

Job Requirements:  

  • An ‘A’ level pass in Accounting; 
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in the accounting or administration field. 
  • Highly organised and flexible 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
