Castille Institute, a well-established leader within the financial services and tech education sector recently organised a course on “A Shift in the International Tax Landscape”.
The course focused on recent developments in International Tax, the extent to which the EU has diverged from the BEPS project by promoting a Common Corporate Tax Base (CCTB) and discussions on Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB). In addition the seminar also dealt with other recent developments being pushed by the EU including country-by-country reporting, tackling hybrid mismatch arrangements and alternative dispute resolution in international tax matters.
The course was led by Dr Mark Galea Salomone who is an Associate at Camilleri Preziosi, forming part of the Corporate and Finance practice group.
The training was well-attended and this offering is amongst one of a wide array of training programmes delivered through Castille Institute.
