Castille employees contributed generously to feed hungry families temporarily facing a crisis in Malta.
After reading the article about the Valletta foodbank risking closure, as its supplies are drying out, Castillians decided to help and started collecting food for this very good cause. ‘Within 2 days we had over 6 large boxes of food, brought by my colleagues’ said Clive Camilleri, an employee at Castille who was in contact with Rev. Kim Hurst.
Rev. Kim Hurst visited our offices to collect all the food which was collected and her first reaction when she saw all the food was priceless. She was extremely thankfully and encouraged us all to share the word.
Rev.Kim Hurst has been operating the foodbank located on 210, Old Bakery Street in Valletta since 2014. She has had extensive experience working in UK foodbanks and decided to open a facility in Malta after discovering that there wasn’t one.
