Orange Business Services (OBS) associates the expertise and know-how of Equant, Orange and its subsidiaries. It represents the Orange brand across the entire Enterprise market worldwide - Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs), local authorities, large businesses and multinationals. Together with other Group organizations covering Enterprise customers on their domestic markets and driven by the Enterprise Line of Business, OBS contributes to develop the Group’s business-to-business (B2B) activities.

 After being implemented in Brazil, India and Egypt, the Orange Business Services Ltd has chosen Mauritius as part of its long term strategy, to set up the 4th Major Service Centre, since October 2007. This year, the Mauritius Major Support Centre (MMSC) will be celebrating its 10th anniversary on 14th October 2017. The MMSC began its operation with 20 employees and since then it has not stopped expanding. As at date, it has a workforce of more than 800 high caliber technical people and their average age is 28 years old and of which 65% are qualified university graduates IT Engineers and technicians. 

At the MMSC, we strongly believe in gender equality which implies a long-standing tradition of recognizing the value of diversity in the workplace and is committed to ensuring equal opportunity for both women and men including integration of disabled persons. 

The MMSC delivers class network and IT services to global customers. Operations are carried out in 5 regions, namely: East Europe, Middle East Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, North America and Europe. It operates under a 24/7 basis and the languages used are both English and French. 

The MMSC is certified ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 20000-1:2011 (service management) and ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management) and most recently certified as Top Employer Mauritius 2016, 2017 and 2018 and Top Employer Africa 2016, 2017 & 2018.” 

Moreover, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is also at the heart of the MMSC through its CSR and Green initiatives team. Many projects related to the protection of the environment and welfare of the vulnerable children are constantly being undertaken with the collaboration of various NGOs around Mauritius. 

The MMSC also shared the Orange’s group promise that of being a “digital and caring employer” and hence, it reaffirms that social quality, is a key driver for economic performance and upholds a clear goal of offering employees a unique experience which is equal to the one provided to the customers. The MMSC is located in the Cyber 2 Tower at the Ebene Cybercity.
