Castille Resources operates by virtue of a licence, Employment Agency Licence numbered E.A. 54-2005, granted in accordance with the provisions of Employment and Training Services Act, Cap.343 of the Laws of Malta.Castille Resources’ online service is committed to the highest level of security and privacy. We will ensure that any personal data you may submit to us via our Site shall remain private, and shall only be used for the purposes and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this policy. This Data Protection shall be deemed to be incorporated as an integral part of the Castille Resources End User Terms and Conditions.

2 Processing of Data 2.1 Your personal details, including your name, e-mail address, CV and all other information provided by you to us upon registration, is held and used by us for the following purposes: 2.1.1 For matching your personal data with present or future job vacancies, whether existing or potential, and to assist us in finding you the position, career or job that most suits you; 2.1.2 For applying for any job on your behalf, including providing potential employers or third party recruitment agencies with information on yourself for the purpose of assessing whether you would be suitable for a particular position, career or job; 2.1.3 For keeping you informed of Castille Resources services, news and developments in your selected field or in any field related to the position, career or job that most suits you; 2.1.4 For allowing our Site to rank, filter or tailor in any other manner information that you may see on the said Site in order to make it more relevant to you; 2.1.5 For compiling salary and other surveys of our candidates; 2.1.6 For the provision of information or other services in relation to any specific requests that you make to us; and 2.1.7 For the development and improvement of Castille Resources services. 2.2 Any personal data you send us will be collected and stored in our databases for our use for the purposes referred to in clause 1.1. Your CV and related personal data will be available to employers and recruitment agencies who have subscribed to our database. They may contact you using any of the contact personal data you have submitted. 2.3 Once personal data is passed on to such employers and recruitment agencies, it will be governed by their own privacy policy and will thus no longer by subject to this Data Protection Policy. Castille Resources cannot be held responsible for any breaches of data protection law made by such third party employers and recruitment agencies. 2.4 Castille Resources will ensure that if your current employer is a customer of Castille Resources then your current employer will be restricted from accessing your personal data from or on the Site. 2.5 We may also process personal data relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so at law.

3 Transfer of Data to Third Countries 3.1 Castille Resources reserves the right to transfer applicants’ data to prospective employers or recruitment agencies in third countries forming part of the European Union. 3.2 Unless we have your express consent, we will only disclose personal data to third countries not forming part of the European Union if this is required for the purpose of fulfilling any specific request that you may make to us.

4 Job Notifications 4.1 To subscribe to job notification emails, you will be required to provide your e-mail address, which will be used for the purpose of keeping you informed, by e-mail, of available jobs in your selected field. Unsubscribe links shall be provided in every job notification email that you may receive.
